Cornell Warns: Summer Heat Threatens Pets

Cornell University in Ithaca has announced that the summer heat has officially arrived. Michelle Moyal, DVM ’07, an alumna currently serving on the faculty at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, has shared tips to help pet owners keep their animals safe during hot weather. According to Moyal, high temperatures can have an unexpectedly rapid and negative impact on pets, highlighting the need for precautionary measures as the season progresses.
