**Sea Turtles Rescued After Hurricane Helene Flooding in Florida**

Two juvenile green sea turtles, named Utica and Tolland, are currently receiving care at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) in Clearwater, Florida, after being found stranded due to extreme flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.

The turtles were discovered in a ditch near the Steinhatchee River, where they became trapped as floodwaters receded. Following their rescue, they were transported to CMA’s sea turtle hospital for necessary medical treatment.

The rescue and care efforts were conducted in accordance with permits issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). These activities followed strict guidelines to ensure no harm was caused to the turtles.
